Waldorf Salad with Dates

Chopped walnuts, chopped celery, dates and diced apple tossed with mayonnaise and frozen whipped topping. Salad is chilled and served over lettuce.

Ingredients -
2 cups Apples, diced
1/2 cup Pitted Dates, snipped
1/2 cup Celery Stalk, chopped
1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
3/4 cup Frozen Whipped Dessert Topping, thawed
 
Preparation:

1. Combine the walnuts, celery, dates and apples in a large bowl.

2. In a small bowl combine the whipped topping and the mayonnaise.

3. Add the mayo mixture to the salad and gently stir to combine.

4. Refrigerate until chilled, which takes about 3 hours.

5. Serve.
